MMWWD Blog enWed, 10 Mar 2010 11:13:06 +0100MMWWDhttp://www.top4-europe.de/Blog-enBye bye, Hawaii!!!http://www.top4-europe.de/Blog-en/page-0Tue, 09 Mar 2010 10:00:00 +0100Tomorrow we are leaving the beautiful islands. We are flying to the TOP4 convention to Taipei, where we will meet many of you. That is what we are looking forward to. So, the last few days there were like transition days: cleaning and laundry, last purchases - even if an American supermarket is quite an experience! - Barber, packing shopping bags ... But, we completed our two-hour walk every day - along the stormy waters to the east coast of the island, Mauka (mountain side, the "Sleeping Giant" mountain range and Makei (seaward) of the surging Pacific Ocean with nothing but ocean between here and China. Today we were willing to spend money. We drove through the historic artists' village of Hanapepe with its famous suspension bridge swaying to sift through all the galleries there, according to a memory image, but could find nothing that we liked immediately. Finally, we entered Scotty's Music Store to buy an electronic tuner for my ukulele at home - for $ 25.50. We came out not only with the device, but with a new ukulele for about $ 600. As I have my birthday coming up, and besides, it is much preferable to a second ukulele for our vacation in the mountains have at your fingertips! Howlife can be. Being able to make such a spontaneous decision for me is a sign of freedom, which has given us this business. It took work, effort and time, but it was worth it. That is what we wish for you all. You can change so much in your life if you wish to. That's why we are writing this blog for you: not to deliver a travel diary, but to show you that life holds more willing than the care of the daily bread!.. We had two nights and one day's time to exchange experiences and memories and renew old friendships... We want to thank this island, namely, that it gave us three full days of rest, recreation and relaxation - after the tsunami of excitement at the first time. Every morning we completed our Powerwalk along the lagoons of Ka Olina, otherwise read, relaxed and made plans ...The day before yesterday we spent at the Ala Moana Shopping Center and the Hilton Village. After all, Honolulu is a sophisticated metropolis. I won't tell anything about Eva's shopping catch, except that it seems to come mostly from St. John and Eva's favorite shoe store at the Hilton, where I incidentally was greeted by a pretty Hulamädchen nice at the entrance. Yesterday, we went to Oahu's North and West once again - all the places that stick full of memories for us because we were there so happy with our children many years ago: Weimea Valley, Sunset Beach, Fisherman's Hat, Kaliua Beach and the Pali Lookout, where the strong wind almost swept us from the cliffs. The last evening here ended with a luau at the Marriott. Tomorrow we are head back to Maui, where we will meet with our American friends to a Diamond Seminar in Lahaina... Every half-hour public sirens howled, and all radio and television stations have indicated, when the big wave was expected from the earthquake in Chile here in Hawaii, namely at 11:35 am in Oahu. What an excitemen! We didn't want to expect the wave at a beach resort, so we packed up a few things and drove into the mountains. Many of the people had the same idea - all cars were sneaking its way up the hill, many stopped at the roadside and started picnicking. We spent hours in the Wahiawa Botanical Garden - I was sitting on a stump while Eva was lying in the grass. The time dragged on. But around 2pm a Hawaiian lady (who had a radio) told us that the alert was lifted: "Hawaii has the most churches, the majority of preachers and the Lord spared us. Hallelujah!" -.. So we drove from Kapalua to Wailea, because in the local Grand Hote the Trans American Diamond Forum was just beginning, and we could meet there with our Mexican friends for lunch. It's so nice to be able to be with enthusiastic business partners. Isn't Eva's and Geovana Bazan's smile full of infectious positivism? After the meeting, we went straight on to Hana. The ride is exciting: 60 km nothing but curves to the right lane of the rainforest, and to the left of the abyss and over 100 bridges. But, we did it, and could spend three wonderful days for two at the other end of the island. We were hiking through the rain forest, lying on the deserted beach of Hamoa, which James Mitchener has called as the finest in Hawaii, and explored the longest lava cave in the world, the Hana Lava Tube. Also, I became acquainted with a hammock for the very first time. It is not so easy to relax in it ... Today, Friday- it was the 60 km back again to the airport. We recovered very quickly from the exciting journey on the beach in Paia, the surfer's paradise. Then we boarded the plane to Honolulu. And here we are: The Marriott Vacation Club on Oahu. What will be tomorrow? Surely only beautiful things, from which we can tell you. Again: Aloha from Dr. MM.. Yesterday, we were on the beach at Kaanapali with Aurea and Renzo, and Inna and Oleg. The sea was turquoise blue, there was a rainbow over us, and across from the beach we saw the island of Molokai, where the film "Jurassic Park" had been shot. Like a Dream! Old memories came back because the first German Diamond Forum had taken place after the reunification here in Kaanapali. How fast the years have passed ... Today was my day of joy: I had to get up before six clock in the morning, but then we went on the summit of Haleakala with 10 people. From there we went down by bicycle again: From 3000m down to zero in one fell swoop! On top of the volcano it was cold, and we stood shivering in this lunar landscape, but when we were going down it became greener and greener, and we finally ended after four hours on the beach in Paia at the blue Pacific. The waves made huge waves - surfers everywhere! Everyone but Jordi Marin, the Spanish manager, was part of our existing downlines from Germany, Russia, Austria, Spain and Italy, and then, suddenly, the slogan arised: "Downhill with downlines". A wonderful experience that you should go for. Amway Diamonds are always going back to Hawaii! A small downside was that Yong Chen from Spain at the beginning fell to her knees, but she took it with humor and has kept up bravely to the end, what I really admired. No wonder that she and her husband have been, with this insistence, the first Chinese diamonds in Europe! Next time Eva will tell you what she likes the most here. See you soon!.. Our MCs Katja and Sven led through the program fantastically. Crown Ambassador Renate Backhaus showed us how easy it is to get new sponsor potential. Diamond Patrick Van Gelderen from Switzerland reported on the great Your Future Now Incentive, and Emerald Natalie & Werner Ingold shared their experiences of the past few weeks with us. Mrs. Wiedemann, Amway Trainer, presented the new line of cosmetics "beautycycle". We were so delighted by the many new young faces at the recognition. Our group from Hamburg had quite a few new business partners there - we are proud of all!.. But, there is now even more to tell: We spent the end of the month in our house in the mountains and the phone was running hot. Many wanted to achieve their qualifications and reported again and again their big and small successes. Then we went to England. We spent the weekend with our oldest son Peter in Birmingham and from there went to London by train where we met quite a lot of friends in Amway's Center. We had arranged to meet our friends from Thailand, a triple and a double diamond, which had come to London to build a business there. This week was really international. Friends from China, Thailand, Ukraine, Spain, Portugal, Colombia and Jamaica, and Malaysia came to learn from us. Juerrgen and Sally Brinner were busy all day and night with us. Dr. took a few hours together with Juergen Brinner to visit the British Museum. It's great if we can work together with friends regarding the same goals while still having fun. We are looking forward to tomorrow because tomorrow we will meet with many German and Swiss friends in Amway's Experience Center in Munich and it is going to be a super seminar. 2010 will be our very best year. Make it your best year, too!.. (read more)
